Its real and I have read that book. It starts ok, it just gets stupid further along the story you go. It could have a pretty good below the decks story about someone who wasn't connected to the main cast, but nooo, they just had to tie that poo poo in.

I thought I read somewhere that in star wars the lasers from ships and blasters are like literally solid and do actual concussive force. Like it fires off a chunk of solid light. And lightsabers were basically the same thing on a handle.
