Tons of spoilers now on the official boards with more coming all the time (including that Pretas lost their absolutely bullshit mines). Personally, I'm loving every single thing that's been revealed about N3 so far - with the possible exception of it not covering HS and Paradiso rules/units. I had no idea how many totally new units were coming with N3. It's like a full expansion book on top of the expected rules re-write.

I like that hackers can use whitenoise to block LOF for models with an MSV. Kind of karmic for a hacker to place white noise and for a model without an MSV to then shoot the visor model!

I have just learnt about a skill called Executive Order, though. Hac Tao have it, and rather than be a LT, they replace your current LT when they pop onto the table. That's kind of funny, as you could then supplant Sun Tze as your general. It would be a fantastic and thematic skill for characters like Shinobu, Diomedes, Van Zant and Ko Dali to pick up.

When I read that I kinda didn't get what it was for, but yeah it's clearly so you can have your "real" Lt jump in and have some chump hold his bags until he shows up. It's like reverse Chain of Command. e: Actually now that I think of it CoC isn't in this book and the list of who counts as specialists in the scenarios in the end don't mention it either. Is CoC a later book thing?

I wasn't well versed on Shasvasti before, so I can't really tell if anything changed. I can answer specific questions if you want. REMs look largely the same. Need a hacker or TAG to field them, cant go prone, etc. Actually, the Prone description offhandedly mentiones "models that cannot go prone such as remotes and TAGs", but I cant find where it actually explains that they can't. The basic 8 pointers seem to come with Sniffer now, which is like a deployable repeater for the Sensor skill.

Mercs are in here, but only a few (yuan yuan, auth bounty hunters, new hacker Mercs called Wardrivers that Ariadna can take in ITS, and the CSU that neoterran can take. Link teams aren't in here at all but are mentioned where appropriate (like clarifying how it works with impetuous) Joan is in here, but only the normal version, not Joan 2.0. She's CC23, BS15, Martial Arts 3, and still has inspiring leadership, which now makes everyone Regular but doesn't give them her impetuous when she gets it (she still has frenzy)
