So I've been thinking, what are the chances that this guy meant to attack a Max Brenner store, but got confused and hit the wrong chocolate cafe? Just saying, it would explain the Jihad flag.

I'm also thankful this entire debacle occurred today rather than yesterday; the prospect of that small, struggling Lindt cafe paying overtime for the hostage staff while also paying them Sunday penalty rates would surely annihilate the business, another indicator of how poorly thought-out and planned this attack really was

sriously i still go to max b because their peanut butter frappe is amazing and it doesnt really matter whether the $.02 profit from my drink goes to someone who may be tenuously connected to a country we dont like vs giving it to someone like coles or greater union that does far more to prop up a system ofmisery than max b does
