Stupid phone, I didn't realize there were single issues in that IDW sale on top of the collections. I like Samurai Jack, so I'll check that out.

I've only read the #0 issue (which is free), but Transformers vs. G.I. Joe is :krad:. I plan on reading my buddy's issues when he finally gets around to them (he buys more books than he can read) or I'd snatch it up myself.

Transformers MTMTE in the IDW sale is also really, really good. Much better than a dumb toy tie-in should be.

Is comiXology having network problems right now? Books are not downloading to my tablet and I can't seem to get the backups to work on my PC. Working now a couple hours later.

Get All-Star Superman for $5, dummy.

Like in the last Vertigo sale, the Y the Last Man jumbo collection of 1-10 that isn't on sale is a better deal than getting vol. 1 for $5 and 2 for $12.

I asked this in the Q&A thread but it occurs to me that it might be better here: is there a digital version of Injustice that has the improved coloring? I thought I read something about the colors being fixed up for the print trades or something and was wondering if that's true for any of the digital editions.

Would like to avoid Bat-sloth if possible

I answered you in the other thread, but the version I read on Comixology had the fixed colouring.

DId anyone else buy the Star Trek humble bundle? The pages are out of order in nearly every CBZ I have looked at. Curious if anyone had this issue?

Someone had a similar problem with (I think) one of the Valiant bundles. The pages were numbered 1, 2, 3,... 10, 11, 12,... The viewer would then go 1, 10, 11, 12,... 2, 20, 21, 22,... 3, etc.

As I recall, that person said something and the bundles got updated with leading zeroes. It's a pain, but you can fix that yourself. Change "cbz" to "zip", unzip, rename, rezip, rename back to "cbz".

Yep that must have been it. Used winrar to open an old one and it was page_1, page_2 ... page_10. Redownloaded from humble and now they are page_001, page_002 ... page_010

Time to nerd out on some fuckin Star Trek comics, thanks!

The first six issues of Remender's Venom are a buck each with code at checkout.

It's a strong start for the series, which I think kind of petered out at the end. But those six issue are pretty dang good.

Looks like there's an Image sale with the code IMAGE at checkout. Seems like a bit more than the usual titles. I don't recall seeing the likes of Millar's Starlight or Jupiter's Legacy on sale before, for example. First time I've seen Wythes on sale, too.

This sale is pretty insane. It looks like its actually every single Image title that came out before November 12th 2014. Even though it only shows a few dozen comics as featured you can browse the Image catalog and the sale applies to everything.

Yeah, I picked up Orc Stain. They also have Bulletproof Coffin and Multiple Warheads on sale for more esoteric stuff. Cassanova is listed in their catalog but not actually on sale.

Damnit, just bought my regular series, didn't think to see what else was on sale. I'll have to go back and check out Orc Stain and Multiple Warheads.

I think since this is the recolored Casanova stuff, it just hit their catalog (the recolors were done under Icon) and is too new.

If you apply the code and back out, the discount appears on the prices in store. Then you can see if a comic applies or not.

Them putting essentially their entire catalog on sale is extremely expensive for me. Merry Christmas, I guess.

Suggestions for Image titles? I've read East to West and Manhattan Projects and loved them. Just starting Saga and Chew as well. I'm less concerned with the genre of a series and more with consistency of quality.

Also, for IDW, has anybody read the Little Nemo series? Is it a true all ages book, or is it geared more towards young readers?

This is my current digital Image list, though I'm losing interest in Sex Criminals and Wicked + Divine.

Deadly Class
Lazarus
Pretty Deadly
Rat Queens
Sex Criminals
Trees
Wicked + Divine

I also get Saga and Prophet in floppies and East of West and Manhattan Projects in trade.

I picked up Orc Stain and Wytches to try, I enjoyed Multiple Warheads, and I really like Hickman's Nightly News.

Is Glory available in that sale? Glory is also great.

True all-ages. Definitely appropriate for younger readers but is more than a good book in it's own right.

Used this sale as my excuse to finally buy all of Godland, also got the second volume of Bulletproof Coffin and got caught up on Sex Criminals, Trees, Manhattan Projects, Southern Bastards, Wytches and Lazarus. All very good comics.

and yeah, Chew is great as well.

So is The Pro, a story of a super powered prostitute by Garth Ennis and Amanda Conner, if you need to cleanse your palate after reading Southern Bastards and I Kill Giants.

Dark Horse is doing a hell of a sale on their Star Wars comics while they still can.

$300 for everything https://digital.darkhorse.com/profile/5400/

If that's too much, you're real safe picking up the Legacy or Knights of the Old Republic bundles. https://digital.darkhorse.com/search/?q=XL (50+ comics for $35)

I've had some of the previous megabundles, so I probably won't splurge for the 300$ one.

The omnibus ones are great value too - loved X Wing, Tales of the Jedi, Dark Empire, even Infinities.

KOTOR is great though it tapers off towards the end for the last run. Legacy is amazing throughout.

Are there any standout valiant series I should get?

Teenage Fansub

I just read Harbinger, which is a good ol' young powered team comic.
Jeff Lemire's (Animal Man, upcoming Hawkeye) The Valient is a crossover comic with one issue out. I thought it was stunning and pretty approachable, not knowing anything about the characters.

Archer and Armstrong has been pretty entertaining. It's Fred Van Lente writing bizarro Herc and Amadeus Cho, only this time they're in a bonkers world of Da Vinci Code conspiracies and Wall Street Cults.
