The tech for reading nerve impulses from the surface springboarded in part off DARPA's power armor project, but that's been ten years from being battlefield ready for fifteen years now. I'm really not sure what you're thinking of.

I know the rally car car chat was on page two, but the stupid thing about the 1980s/1990s rally cars is that normal, mere mortals could buy street versions of them. These homologation rules eventually led to road cars like the Ford Escort Cosworth, Subaru Impreza and Mitsubishi Evo. Then in the late 2000s the homologation rules were dropped and the sport/cars in general have been poo poo ever since. During this glorious period, rally cars evolved from being essentially paddock bashers to somewhere up with the Space Shuttle as a symbol of man's engineering capabilities. It was the modern equivalent of flying too close to the sun. E: The Lancia Delta S4 above will sell for about 240,000 GPB and is essentially the rally car with a suede interior. There's like 45 road-going versions left. it was supercharged and turbocharged. By the time the sport ended some manufacturers who were late to the sport had a tonne of these things unsold and almost couldn't give them away. Nowadays they rarely sell for under $400,000 USD. Also by 'glorious' I mean the pace of technical development and road car availability, not the part about them killing people, obviously. Butt Wizard has a new favorite as of 03:28 on Jan 7, 2015 |

in short he is using a bow that would do nothing to anyone back in the day. its one thing to do what he is doing with a light bow as opposed to one with a 100lb or more draw weight and war arrows. if he just demonstrated it as an awesome talent no one would care, but he is making sweeping claims and getting a lot of things wrong in the process hell jauche on the forums been commenting on it for a few days now, he is horribly triggered http://forums.somethingawful.com/showthread.php?threadid=3486446&pagenumber=312&perpage=40#post440692652

Who gives a gently caress if it's not the exact same bow ancient people used or some dumb poo poo. It's far more entertaining and a better look into ancient archery than some fat goon on SA whining that it's not 100% accurate.

Tbh the dude narrating doesn't sound 100% serious to me and to me felt more like a way of spicing up the video of trickshots but I might be wrong though. It might just be his exaggerated attemt at hiding his danish accent which still shines through. I'm danish btw.
