Keep in mind that club nintendo reward game codes would count towards the DDP, and so did poo poo like the free game that came with Mario Kart 8. So he likely spent less than that.

You can't earn points any more. The points you've already earned can be used to get codes until April, presumably so that people who don't pay attention still get 3 more months to stumble on it and find any codes they might have earned. After that point if you haven't activated your codes it's too late. For everyone in this thread who's been activating and using codes all along, the promotion's over and you can go ahead and forget about it.

From the DDP page I got open now: Please note: the Nintendo Network Premium reward programme will be discontinued on 1st April 2015. Please exchange your points for an activation code by 31st March 2015. Once I add the code to my eshop credit, there's no deadline on when I need to use that money, right? I've got ten dollars in eshop credit and am tempted to get shovel knight,but my backlog has already gotten ridiculous. And I finally took everyone's suggestion and bought 3d world. Only played the first few levels but my lord, that is a pretty game.

They were actually on the regular Wii shop for a while but got pulled. I believe Nintendo actually announced them for Europe in the fall but then it just never happened or was a misunderstanding or something.

The DKC games are all available in PAL-land and Japan, they even added them back to the Wii VC, it's just NA that doesn't have them.

Despite owning the cart, I bought Mother 2 on the VC. It's just easier than setting up my SNES just for that game. Bought it on tuesday, beat it earlier today. drat I love that game  . I also played more of Captain Toad; Into episode three now and it's still holding up well.

I got $25 Nintendo Dollars in my Nintendo Tax Refund. I'll probably just a buy a bunch of VC games cause gently caress yeah "free" Fire Emblem 7 unless ya'll got other hot recommendations. I was gonna buy Bayonetta 2 digital but 14 gigs is a no go.
