Hanna and her daughter are best friends suddenly and inexplicably, and Gordy love remote. Piece of work! Yay!

I was over at Comics Curmudgeon and he linked to this other thing where you vote on Mary Worth stuff for some award thing. I don't know. Here's the link if anyone cares as much as I do.

http://maryworthandme.blogspot.com/2014/12/2014-worthy-award-nominations.html

I think I'm voting:
Kaphut
Wilbur--I almost went with Tommy but drat look at that manly Wilbur.
Ian--I think they should have used the HANNA DINGDON panel though.

Angel--Although I'm finding it hard to choose between this one and Tommy.
And I think for Story of the Year I like the divorce one because it was literally like a week and then it ended, which is rare in the Worthiverse, as far as I know.

Wasn't there a strip a couple years ago where Steve Kelley expected Dustin to buy his own house, at the age of 23, supposedly with all the money from his lovely temp jobs?

And to think Dustin's family shits on him non-stop. They got one-upped by some outsider.

Actually, that was an episode of Harvey Birdman

I was sure I'd heard it was referenced in that Jetsons/Flintstones crossover movie, like George meets Fred and is all like, "Holy poo poo! You're walking around on the surface!"

I'd check to be sure, but that would probably involve watching the movie on YouTube, and I really don't want to.

I did watch a lot of Harvey Birdman back in the day, though, so it's really possible that that just got all mixed around in my brain.

http://www.paleofuture.com/ This Retrofuturism blog (which appears to have moved to Gizmodo, I haven't read it in awhile) had a feature where they were going over every episode of the Jetsons in one of the episodes Elroy waits for a bus to space camp or something on the surface and it's nonchalant and not brought up at all. Any gritty dark undertones are just people trying to come up with a reason other than "Living in the sky sounds more glamorous"

Inspector Danger's Crime Quiz

Holding a knife in your right hand and having a thumbprint there would be incredibly uncomfortable. If you're holding a knife tip down you generally hold it with the blade facing out, so your fingers can go over the grip (instead of having it jab into your palm). Which would mean that to have the thumb resting there, the person would be holding it in their left hand. Unless the arrow isn't pointing to the right place but basically that is a horrible and tenuous conclusion, so pretty standard for Inspector Danger.

Some quick googling indicates the pollution thing came from the Jetsons movie. I always remembered it being from the F/J crossover too, but apparently it isn't. Weird.
