I'm liking the theme they're going with this season - different, but the same simultaneously. And Shaun Micallef's in next week!

So this new season is clearly going for the insane, slightly monkey cheese, angle. Certainly more so than the first season. Not quite sure what to think of it. It was certainly...something. Laser prawns.

Didn't like the parents. Loved the scuba spy. Also didn't know they used that sort of torture in North Korea. Here's hoping Ilsa's a continual bitch/badass this series.

Quite a lot of this episode felt like setup for the new era and bringing us up to speed on the characters so hopefully it jumps straight into things next episode too - I need as much Danger 5 as I can get .

Your wish is my command. (I think I am too obsessed with this show) Even with a different personality and actor Pierre is still the best character

I liked a lot of what was in the episode, but it felt like they tried to pack in waaay too much plot and we never got to breathe. The whole thing felt like a fun mess, definitely not as tight as everything from season 1.

Yeah, I really hope that's just an artifact of them catching up on what's happened between seasons, I think half the episode was just "where are they now" Apparently next weeks episode is supposed to be pretty awesome though I hear.

I just binged the entire show today and something is off about S2E1. I feel like they used a better camera or something and it's not working. Not to mention that they replaced Pierre with someone totally different. Nevermind. I just realized the 1st season was supposed to look like it was filmed in the 70s and season 2 the 80s. The Danger 5 Facebook page did hint that Aldo Mignone (original Pierre) could make a small appearance sometime in this season.

I was a bit disappointed at the start that Pierre was not Pierre, but as it went I realised that it fits in well with the show, and the actor really seems to be making it his own. Was a bit shocked at the end, but after finding out about the time travel stuff I'm eagerly awaiting the next episode.

Was sold on new Pierre by the end of that, hoping for a continuation of the drug fueled nonsense. They sure crammed a lot into that episode, hopefully it settles down a bit back into a groove. This thing being on television, what a time to be alive.

I thought this was outstanding. They were going for some pretty easy jokes at times, and it definitely has a bit of a stylistic whiplash compared to season 1, but I love that they're doing something different. It felt a lot like an early Peter Jackson film like Bad Taste or Meet the Feebles. The bazooka fight was the best.

That was hilarious. I wish the episode was longer. Must admit I prefer we had a clear conclusion at the end of every episode, but I'll probably love it at the end of the season. The video game fight was brilliant. I'll be sad to see the Wolf go. Everything at the school was brill. Oh and Tucker's gotten really buff and hot.
