I don't think I had ever heard of Battle Block Theater before I saw it on sale at one point for a stupidly low price. Not that I'm like hooked right into the "Indie" title mainline or anything, but I feel like there maybe should have been some more marketing involved.

They Bleed Pixels is a pixel-art platformer that's actually quite hard, so a speedrun of it is likely to be technically challenging, if nothing else. (But it won't always be immediately obvious why it's hard.) Basically, you can go AFK and do other poo poo until midnight PST, when they start a ~6 hour block of pure awesome.

New Super Marisa Land is a pretty cool game and solid homage to SMW/SML. You're all boring and tedious for making pedo anime jokes the whole time. Touhouvania 2 and Megamari are superior games for speedrunning, but they obviously weren't going to have the same game again, since they've been at marathons before. I hope you're all happy, because I am.

This run is ok.  Like, even though this is a pretty meh game I still find this preferable to the endless mario/zelda/metroid runs that are there every single event. And if nothing else it was better than RE4 from SGDQ and that awful mister driller from an event or 2 ago that ended with Blueglass with a bag on his head.

They're doing a Metal slug game after this. How do you speed run Metal Slug, which is pretty much an autoscroller if you're speed running it, but not one of the actual Touhou games? Or even one of the good fangames? (There are several Mario-Touhou games, this is one of the worse ones.)

They put a crap weeaboo game like this on in prime-time and schedule games with a large general appeal like the NES block and Mega Man X race when the majority of the western world is sleeping.
