I don't even understand the purpose of chat when there's so many loving people. I get that it makes the charity some sub money, but there are better incentives to donate than stupid emotes in a chat that'll be crowded regardless of sub-only or not.

From what I've heard, statistically people tend to stick around and watch for longer when the chat is available. I don't know why either.
