I haven't played NG3. The commentators keep specifying Invincible Fire Wheel. Is there a version of the fire wheel that doesn't offer that feature or is it some clever glitch or something?

Are the times they're looking at different from the times on screen? It looked to me like the final times were 37:15 / 37:13.

NG1/2 timing ends when the final timer hits 0, NG3 timing ends when the screen finishes fading.

The SOTN race should be good as well as that's another game full of tricky maneuvers that can send you way ahead if you pull them off in one shot or ruin you if you fail.

The skill was awesome to watch, but the commentary giving context to what was going on on-screen was what helped make that. Hopefully the SOTN race has something similar.

I think Romscout is participating so I think we can expect an enormous lead and casually throwing out frame-perfect skips originally only to show off but then they work on the first try, while the others try to catch up.

So basically it's a race between the others to get second.

The Ninja Gaiden race could've ended up really lopsided as well but by some chance both teams ended up making exactly the correct amount of mistakes and recoveries.
