That was added with Damage 2.0, which also got rid of the idea of armor piercing damage (because there was no other type that mattered) and added the six mixed (corrosive, viral, gas, blast, magnetic, radiation) elemental types. Each element type (and the three main physical types - impact, slash, pierce) each have a special proc, and each weapon type has its own proc chance (listed as status %). Each also has separate resistances to different armor types, and different mobs can even have multiple armor types depending where you hit them. It sounds all so cool, except in practice the procs are useless and you're pretty much always best off stacking corrosive or radiation then forgetting about it unless you want to micromanage your guns between every run (you don't).

Though they did mention the J3 boss coming soon (which is my guess for the drop location for Typhus parts which is my guess for the new frame). They also spoiled the existence of a 4th faction (no real details about the faction) that is going to drop a "neutron bomb on the void." They are apparently going to use the 4th faction as the story driven reason behind a revamped drop locations for void stuff.

It doesn't 100% solve its issues, but it makes it actually usable. Also its aoe skips through nullifier bubbles and murders them. Which is useful!

Primed Fast Hands is really funny but not worth the time it took to get the cash and ducats. Primed Whatever Impact is theoretically useful on a weapon that's almost entirely Impact damage, but probably not worth it either.

I'd say worth picking them both up if you are regularly running Void Missions anyway, but I wouldn't invest any cores into them for the time being because they are not super useful for now. Also, I don't recall who it was that mentioned selling legendary cores, but yes I am interested reasonably priced legendary cores. I want two for Primed Intensify and Primed Streamline (whenever the hell they drop). Also, here is a decent dev stream summary. How hard is it to get Blind Justice? I saw the name and immediately thought Zatoichi and lo it was created as a homage to him. So I want it. That weapon is something I hope to make eventually and I got one of the stances already.
