 oh my god this is horrible. i mean i kinda knew that an album called "manscape" was going to be awful but didn't half know how wretched it could be, the endless rambly "songs" would be bad no matter what but that loving sound is so queasily, poisonously metallic. it's like listening to a metal sink full of piss and bleach for an hour and not even in a cool way, just gross and clearly inadvertent. never been more grateful for a comeback album, this would have been the absolute worst note to go out on. (also  at the mega deluxe 2-cd version that japan got on the album's initial release.)
