Shaped like a friend

Triple Deluxe owns and if you want a normal kirby game I'd say it's up there with Super Star.

Also if you want more tastes of Rainbow Curses music there are these two sample videos. From what I understand like smash bros you can make a playlist of over 100 songs, and when you replay levels you can (from what I gather mind) replace the normal level song with anything you have unlocked.

Speaking of which you can unlock songs from other Kirby games remixed for this one. You can tell what game the song came from by it's thumbnail- the rainbow one being a original (as in it plays at some point in the game naturally). A picture of the amazing mirror for example would have the original song from that game.

There are no other playable characters as far as anyone's found. Dedede and Meta Knight aren't even in the game outside of unlockable clay trophies. There's a comic on the japanese website where the two got frozen because they wanted to do cool poses as color was stolen and that's the excuse.

There's 28 stages, 21 are levels and 7 are bosses. There's also about 48 challenge rooms that give you sets of puzzles to solve in extremely limited amounts of time.

I remember blowing through Return to Dreamland in a few days... if ends up being $10, it's a good bet. But Triple Deluxe improves on it in every way, I think.

Honestly, although it looks like an unreasonable stockpile in a single photo, the actual quantity of adapters there isn't really a drop in a bucket compared to what it takes to supply a whole continent.

Last month I played Dreamland 1 on my 3DS since I got it with club nintendo coins and it's actually a lot more fun than I remembered. Probably because when I played it as a kid it was after playing Kirby's Adventure.

It inspired me to try and get and play through a copy of every Kirby game because I've enjoyed every one I played. So I bought Dreamland 2 and a Super Game Boy off amazon and then have 3 on the Wii U and I am super hyped for Rainbow Curse. It's a franchise that never really comes to mind when I think of cool Nintendo stuff and it's really weird because it is very fantastic!!

My favorite Traditional Kirby is the GBA Nightmare in Dreamland, which is an amazing remake of the NES Kirby's Adventure. A popular favorite is also Super Star, the DS remake of that is great.

So to get Nintendon't working on the Wii U vWii, do you have to homebrew it up or something? Because I'm gonna get one of the Mayflash GC adaptors (I do assume that even if it doesn't work with Nintendon't now, it will eventually) and if I can get that working to use any GC controller I want for all my Wii (and I guess GC?) games on the U, then that would be the best thing.

So I'm playing the Bayonetta series and playing as a titular witch that takes her clothes off and uses fetish attacks to kill archangels in a sexualised manner whilst suggestively sucking on lolly pops is somehow making me even more :gay:

I think the game is having the opposite effect of what the designers were originally going for with their key demographic.

Is Bayonetta considered a gay icon? Because if not then she needs to be!

Bayonetta is pretty awesome because people are still debating whether the games are exploitative or empowering, feminist or misogynistic/misandristic. I don't know about gay icon but I know quite a few guys refused to play it because of how "gay" the first game's presentation was.

Bayonetta is drag with a dash of burlesque. It's literally someone who is not a woman (a computer program) doing a performance with the most exaggerated possible ideas of femininity as imagined by society.

Anita is a little too second wave to be chill with it.

I don't agree with every example Anita gives in her videos, but I agree with her overall point, and I'll usually defend her.

But I think she's totally off the mark when it comes to Bayonetta, and I'm not really looking forward to her video on Bayonetta 2 she mentioned she was working on (when it comes out in 2018)

The gay community usually idolises strong independent characters who are confident in their own skin as it shows a role model who stands out from the crowd but is not afraid to to be who they are.

Bayonetta ticks those boxes and gets double brownie points for being proud about her over-sexual nature (something some gay people have usually had to hide or not advertise in public).

Plus from a game front Platinum really nails down the aesthetic of being over the top and flashy with their games presentation that it can't be taken seriously turning it almost camp in nature.

I'm playing this game with a massive grin on my face. I get to straddle heavenly beings to death while J-pop Frank Sinatra plays in the background and if I do a good job I get to comment on how I would make a great pole dancer! :neckbeard:

Yeah, to enable homebrew you need the HBC files, a copy of Smash Bros Brawl, and an SD card that is 2GB or less. It takes like 5 minutes to do.

All of this sounds loving terrific, so many cool callbacks. Original Canvas Curse had about 24 levels, so this one seems like it's got the same amount plus a shitload of challenge rooms. Def the sort of game I hope they make a giant DLC level pack but lol at DLC for a kirby game so they won't.

Well, I do in fact have all of that. I'm usually a bit wary of modding currently active systems (as in are likely to still get updates and that I want to internet with), but since it would be softmodding just the Wii portion (I presume), I guess there's no real risk of anything.
