Ron Paul spent the weekend speaking at a secessionist rally, because of course he did.quote:“A lot of times people think secession, they paint it as an absolute negative,” said former U.S. Rep. Ron Paul. After all, Paul said, the American Revolution was a kind of secession. “You mean we should have been obedient to the king forever? So it’s all in the way you look at it.”

pengun101 posted:does bibi have an actual chance at loseing? I thought his party/coalition/shitheads had a majority? Well prime minister polling isn't as easy to break down as presidential polling but the general feeling right now is that Netanyahu has a better chance of forming a coalition but not by much. The election won't be the end of the story and there's a lot of poo poo happening in back rooms right now that will form the basis of whatever emerges. Basically, it's entirely possible that Bibi loses his position but maybe a little less likely than the alternative.

Additionally the RNC is going to have a lot more control over the debates and the questions to help prevent them from saying things that will bite them in the rear end in the general. It's unfortunate that they are learning from their mistakes.
