That one just adds more percentage onto Wand Reactor. So, say you had that at 5, and the weapon and potential 3, that'd be 50% of your TATK added to SATK. Or it might be multiplicative! Who knows!

Anyway never stop bonking.
I do stop bonking sometimes though. I can't stop switching between br/hu, ra/br and te/br. As such, it will be forever before any of them get to max level. I know getting one of them all the way up first would be more profitable because of xh weapon drops, but I want variety. The highest is braver right now at 67.

Well, I used up all my grind luck earlier. I have no idea how much I threw into my new bonking wand but it's ended up at +3 every time.

Does anyone actually use that recycle item that grinds to +7 automatically? Is it cost effective (if you can find cheap enough AC scratch items)?

The only time I've ever heard of someone using one is for grinding 13*s to save lambda grinders, and even then it isn't close to cost effective.

At least on ship 2, I don't know what the ac costume economy is like on the other ships

Nah, not really. If you get one by some sort of reward campaign they're okay, but it's not really worth it otherwise. Trade Excubes in for FUN, scratch up a buncha -1 Risk Reducers and pray to Falz for luck. Also change blocks every now and then. It's probably just superstition like rubbing the pig in Monster Hunter, but it can't hurt.

I think I'd rather get a Dudu punching bag and use that for a while before each attempt.

edit: there's no Monica punching bag though. I don't know which is more annoying, Dudu blaming my luck or Monica's apologies. Also it raises an obvious question: who is actually doing the grinding? If it's the item lab employee Monica's comments make sense, but if Dudu's comments are right, your player character is.

You can never have enough cubes. Mainly because you also want the 30% chance boosters that cost 20 cubes

I don't think its ever been explained what grinding is, aside from it strengthening photons somehow. It can't be weapon sharpening because you cant sharpen a gun.

I think PSU's "disclaimer" window before you attempt a grind explained it a bit. Don't remember what exactly it said though.

Sharpening guns/bows/maces/whatever works in every other RPG. Also your character's own strength is reflected in how much damage bullets do for some reason.

I've been having a bunch of error 630s yesterday and today, and I never did before. Is that something on my end or their end?

checked a youtube video and copied the dialog box.

quote:

Weapon upgrades are modifications designed for professional users. To increase pp Capacity and weapon damage, the saftey limiter will be removed and a pure photon stream will be applied. This is a risky and delicate procedure. Failed upgrades used to destroy weapons, but new technology now prevents that. If an upgrade fails, the weaponwill return to its pre-upgrade state and the number of remaining upgrades will decrease. We are not responsible for this.
I like that they made it look like you were agreeing to a EULA when taking a weapon to its manufactorer be upgraded in psu.

This ISP problem with Sega is seriously the weirdest loving thing I have ever encountered with the make-up of the internet. I just noticed that even though I still can't load the page, Chrome can somehow get a thumbnail of it for the purpose of using on the new tab page:

How the hell does that even happen?

Oh, well that mystery solved anyway.

Anyway I have basically forgotten what it's like to run the game without Pingzapper in there, and its cost is pretty low, so unless I check periodically I might never know if/when Sega fixes its connection with my ISP.

Right now that's probably because there isn't really anything worth getting with casino coins unless you really need to change the equip requirement on a crafted weapon or something.
