Wait... hold on. I'm pretty sure Wormbama showed up to this one. Checking the video, she literally asked him questions and he responded. What the gently caress is Ramirez trying to say here? Also, I doubt she's ashamed of a comedy video of her eating cereal in a bath tub from 4 years ago with almost 10 million views. It'd be like making fun of Hank Green for posting a video of him humping the Google street sign. It's a thing they did, and shared because they thought it was funny. It's not an attack to bring it back up just because it offends the sensibilities of the right wing shill.

What the gently caress is Ramirez trying to say here? Obama is an ineffectual president, essentially an empty chair. It is a common conservative attack. Similarly common is Obama being a tyrannical monarchic despot who is imposing his will on America.

If Ramirez did steal the joke, he tried to obfuscate it by changing it to be completely incoherent. Adam and Eve already bought an SUV and are being tempted by a gas pump to...? I think he wanted to make the opposite point as the original (per #2 on your list) but in classic Ramirez fashion didn't think through the visual metaphor at all. You'd think it might have occurred to him at some point when he was meticulously inking all that foliage.

I typed "FBI anti-Muslim hate crimes" into google and got this article. I guess 160 recorded crimes and a probable 3,000 crimes aren't "mass" enough to meet Tinsley's definition? I mean it's sad that at least one person was beaten to death in America for their Muslim faith, but is it really that sad? Bruce Tinsley doesn't think so.

So uh is there a specific article I'm supposed to read on the FBI's website? Because I typed "anti-muslim backlash" into the search bar on FBI.gov and got more than 100 incidents EDIT: beaten.

From the FBI's hate crime statistics, 2001: hatecrime01.pdf posted:Another noticeable increase in 2001 was among religious-bias incidents. Anti-Islamic religion incidents were previously the second least reported, but in 2001, they became the second highest reported among religious-bias incidents (anti-Jewish religion incidents were the highest), growing by more than 1,600 percent over the 2000 volume. In 2001, reported data showed there were 481 incidents made up of 546 offenses having 554 victims of crimes motivated by bias toward the Islamic religion. You hack. gently caress you.

Wait. Wait. Hold up a moment here. Let me just figure out the rules. So the talking duck reporter interviews the unicorn and the unicorn says that he's often mistaken for [thing which the comic says does not exist]. The joke is that [thing which does not exist] looks like [thing which the comic says does not exist]. But. But! The unicorn is right there. He's saying the things. He's THERE. He EXISTS. He is IN THE SAME UNIVERSE. HE'S RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE DUCK. THE UNICORN IS REAL. THE DUCK IS INTERVIEWING HIM. The unicorn MUST be real- to the duck- because the only way the comic works is if the duck reporter is also real. So the punchline isn't [thing doesn't exist], it's [deny thing exists even if it is right in front of you and it is obvious]. The only way that the duck reporter's comic makes any sense is if the duck is counting on everyone being exactly as deep in the denial of reality as he is.

Seriously, her speech fell into Muirese word-salad territory after her teleprompter broke, and after the fact she brought up some other speech from 2004(?) where she claims the teleprompter broke (it didn't, as other people can still see the many, many prompters she was looking at and read her speech) as proof of....something. Also, Palin is an idiot.
