And they did that because they were insecure about "looking bad" to the other fighting game communities at EVO. Yeah, I'm really sure this would help your reputation.

The only reason why the Evo tournament are letting Smash play now isn't because the owner had a change of heart, he's a greedy poo poo that wants the viewership of Smash. He's always hated Smash no matter what they actually did.

At least 2? 3? competitive smashers work for Twitch. Scar and Lilchen specifically have ties to Twitch. Twitch and Smashers have had a very close relationship for a very long time.

Twitch is a pretty cool thing. I still have a melee tournament DVD I bought online and waited to ship to me in snail mail so I could watch a tourney with big names back in the day.

A majority fighting games still say previous iterations of games are better than the current outside of maybe KoF and Mortal Kombat.

It's nice to see people play Falco... But then they always switch to a better character when they're beaten  I watched a lot of Falco competitive videos on Youtube and it was really defeating seeing Keitaro switch to Diddy Kong (loving Diddy Kong  ) every time someone beat him.e: speaking of Diddy Kong...
