My dog is happy and healthy but you take any random video of that little poo poo just sitting and looking around, slow it down, and play some sad music he would look abused, too. I'm sure some of the dogs in the ads are for real sad dogs and mistreated, but I see through the facade. Dogs just look sad when they want stuff.

Here's some more info about McDonalds' new "Lovin Beats Hatin" ad campaign:quote:Starting Monday, Feb. 2, McDonald’s will be randomly accepting a new form of payment. Customers who enter participating McDonald’s restaurants* across the US at randomized, predetermined times between Monday, Feb. 2 and Saturday, Feb. 14 from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. local time each day will be selected to participate to Pay with Lovin’. Once a selected customer has completed his or her order and presented a method of payment, the restaurant Guest Service Manager or Lovin’ Lead will explain that McDonald’s is doing something special that day, and the customer will be given the option to pay for his or her order with an act of Lovin’ instead. For instance, breakfast might cost a friendly fist bump to the crew member on duty, lunch could be paid for with a call to a loved one and dinner could go for a compliment.

...That seems like it's going to lead to socially-awkward teenagers trying to demand kisses or other intimate gestures. Like, they're not even going to be able to start before the lawsuits start being put together, especially if they try to pull it on underage girls (I don't mean pedophilia, just 16-year-old boys, working part-time, trying to get kisses from the 16-year-old girls they've got crushes on. I know some girls would at least agree to a kiss on the cheek, possibly even a full-on kiss, if it meant free stuff - and their parents would be somewhat annoyed once they find out)

"Janey I heard that you let that boy of the same age from McDonald's lean over the counter and kiss you on the cheek as payment for your chicken nuggets, is that true?" "Yes Mom, he forced me to as part of a promotion, it was so socially awkward" "That's it, i'm calling my lawyer. You're grounded for ten years, but the good news is we're going to be millionaires honey. They're just lucky there was no pedophilia involved" I'm sure there will be strict rules about no physical contact of any kind to avoid that sort of controversial scenario.

Nah, there's a pretty healthy chance that this could end badly. Sexual harassment isn't guaranteed, of course, but with ALL the McD's across the country... All I'm saying is...Hey, it could happen McWOOOOOOOOOOOORLD I could also see someone getting irate that the person in front of them got their poo poo for free.

This McD "Lovin" campaign has the chance to go down as one of their worst ideas yet. You'd think the first rule of making a ad campaign would be in no way shape or form mandate or encourage physical contact between employees and customers or encourage people to waste time. I fully expect to see YouTube videos of people just demanding to be allowed to pay for their meal rather then engage some "Lovin Lead" in whatever the theme of the day is.

I'm 100% sure i will never see such a video because they obviously aren't going to disallow payment by money. I mean really. And look how the campaign is working already you're all talking about it and I bet most of you have already been in to Mcdonalds because it's been on your mind and making you hungry. Marketing genius.

Marketing genius. Troll post I know, but it still bugs me. Just because it "gets people talking" doesn't mean its "good marketing". Look at how much the Go Daddy commercial was talked about. How many of us are now thinking of doing webhosting because of the commercial? Probably 0. Now, getting your name EVERYWHERE is useful because it legitimizes a brand, but the commercial itself doesn't' mean it was successful in pushing business to the location. I say this as someone who is pretty upset with his companies marketing strategy of GET IT EVERYWHERE that has the same mindset and its to their detriment.

My best guess on the first one was "She'll be a teenager soon and then you have to kill horny boys that are trying to touch your daughter... which is great for us, because we are a crematorium, you see, and actively encourage an increase in dead bodies." Then the second one comes and I got no loving idea.
