This chapter is awful dark. First Rosemaster's remarks about the Nightmare Knight, then him remembering the first Legendary Hero, and to top it all off a melancholy panel of our heroes looking dejected. Last time this happened in a lighthearted magical adventure fiction, someone got decapitated the next page.

Yeah, the joke was about Madoka Magica or whatever the gently caress the title is actually. Gigi's pretty invested into keeping this an all-ages comic so I don't think we have much to worry about in terms of decapitation. Probably. I'm actually delighted to see this shift. It can't just be hilarious gags like King Kelp and his comically oversized bath drains. Carrot, Almond, and Cucumber being confronted with their faults and failures will make their ~magical journey~ all the more satisfying. Nautilus, of course, can remain completely ignorant to her own failings because clearly you don't need to be competent to rule the Ripple Kingdom.

It was a rumor for a while, but Gigi confirmed somewhere on her tumblr that the dub had decided to stop for their own reasons. About this new dub, are you guys redoing the first couple chapters, or are you picking up where the old one left off? Either way, sounds really cool!
