It just sort of reaffirms that most of us aren't in prison not because we've never committed a crime but because the police have never been convinced we have committed a crime and gone after us. I would really love a psychological explanation for the thought process(es) that allow someone to be so angry as to cut off their own penis. I guess it's a better result than being so angry that you shoot/stab up a school, but drat, that is one angry dude.

The film director Werner Herzog just missed being on the same flight as her. Later he met Koepcke and made a film about her called Wings of Hope. Which led to the arrest of both of them. The father tried to say the murder was in self defense because she had "shammed her family and needed to restore honor". Long story but she eventually ran away from home (Houston) to be with me during my first two years at college (Austin) due to her parents disapproving of our relationship. When that happened her parents would threaten, stalk and send people to follow us everywhere. She was old enough that the police couldn't do anything but that didn't stop them. We eventually separated for other reasons but looking back now we were pretty lucky neither of us were physically harmed or worse. Thanks to Facebook I learned she's now married to who (I assume) isn't muslim so I hope the family learned to accept and adopt the culture here.

Both men were contemporaries of each other, with Tarrare being born in 1772 and Domery being born a few years later. Both men also spent time serving in their respective country's military. Polyphagia of this degree is not well understood in the medical world hardly at all; Tarrare and Charles Domery are apparently the only widely known cases of the condition. However, only Tarrare received any kind of documented autopsy following his death. Charles Domery seems to have fallen off the map sometime in the early 19th century, as there are no solid historical records about his life after that time. I. M. I like how you bolded that last part, but not the parts about eating corpses or drinking other patients' blood. Granted the toddler was presumably the only one of the three that was alive at the time, but still. They also both ate LIVE CATS AND DOGS.
