We were trying to find someone who would let us shoot him with the barbs and that guy agreed. His only stipulation was "that I get a running start," I dont know why. We also did stuff like turn the platoon into a circuit, see who could take a dry stun the longest, get ambushed by our platoon sergeant who tazed PT underperformers when they smoked, and other stuff. We never once tazed an Iraqi.

I did a story on our unit's TASER training course. I got shot with the barbs too. It hurts worse than OC for the 5 seconds it's on, but at least the TASER turns off. OC just keeps giving. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9bA4bLCVV0o

When I was brand new they had a taser in the arms room and the arms room NCO would occasionally make me hit myself in the arm with it before I could draw anything out.

When I used to work at a bombing range they had a stun gun stashed in the base of the tower for whatever reason. Of course this was the same installation where guys kept personal firearms unlocked in their offices.

Up by Tromsų in Norway, between 75 and 95, the Norwegian Armed Forces spent hundreds of millions on building a top secret defensive line called 'the Frey line'. It was finished in 95 and as far as I know was never used or garrisoned. I've been in a couple of the old bunkers when they were used for hell week for NCO students.
