GAINING WEIGHT... posted:Wasn't this part of a series? I think I know what you're thinking of; it was a Bacardi ad campaign or something. I can't find it, but it wasn't this. Unless this was staged, too, but I've never seen more from the series. Just the magazine ads that were inspired by the same concept. VVV yep, that's them. Not sure why I had Bacardi in my head. GAINING WEIGHT... posted:No, it was these! I was wondering why that picture looked familiar. Turns out it's because I posted it! Found the original article after some googling. Some pictures are clearly staged, some are clearly not staged, so pick whatever option helps you sleep at night. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2014/05/29/shadows-up-to-something-funny-photos_n_5379948.html

That randomly reminded me of the Ren and Stimpy comic that ran briefly in the early/mid 90's: For some reason, it came with a free air freshener. Fake edit: And only now I noticed they changed Ren's line...I remember it came in a bag and when you opened it, Ren's speech bubble, previously hidden, said: "Youeediot! You opened it, now it's worthless!" I guess they changed it to "it's a second/third printing" later on. Second fake edit: Yeah, here's the original packaging:

Ren and Stimpy was another one of those comics that ended up being way better than it should have been. I remember one issue that was a choose your own adventure book set in space. It was full of time loops and scenes that read completely differently depending on how you got to them, they'd clearly put a ton of effort into writing it despite the fact that their target audience would have enjoyed it just as much if every panel was just Stimpy cutting a fart.

Pretty sure that's part of the Toronto subway or trolley system. It's been a few years since I've been there, but those names look familiar. e. Oh, I guess the TTC in the corner is a giveaway too.

It's apocryphal, but I'd heard that building is largely a labor and delivery center, so it might be intentional in a different way.
