It's the sexualized depiction of underage girls that get on my nerves, and how they try to brush it off as an art form.

But the average anime watcher doesn't do that any more than the average tank player is sitting in a fully authentic Wehrmacht uniform surrounded by tank models and tank planes listening to WW2 propaganda music. It's amazing how that sort of crowd clusters around the worst bit of anime. Oh, wait, they're disproportionately kancolle fans. Kancolle is especially offensive and incredibly creepy even by anime standards. Look how hot the results of violence on women are because their clothes got torn off! If they were drawing the stuff especially to appeal to rapists, I doubt they'd change a thing. And I've liked a decent fraction of anime I've seen, even relatively obscure ones, and I have to say that most of the time it's despite being anime. The rapiness and sudden style shifts to cutsiness in Hellsing don't add anything, and the expository game show episode in (and general trajectory of the second half of) Ergo Proxy are embarrassments to a gorgeous show that was shaping up to be really cool.

Also if they institute any type of damage model when you are rammed then even a glancing blow will send it to the bottom of the sea.

My main beef right now is smoke screen..it seems like the ships who lays it down has an advantage where they can still see me but I am completely blind to see them. They should not have that kind of advantage.. last night I ran into a double DD smoke screen and had no idea where the gently caress they were but they were belching torps and hitting my ship like they were parked in front of me.

Botes chat again. Do you think they'd ever add in the British Dido or US Atlanta class light cruisers as premium? They were both conceived as AA cruisers - Didos with 5.25" DP and 4" guns, and the Atlantas with fuckoff amounts of 5" /38 DP in twin turrets. Oh, and light and heavy autocannons. Don't forget your Oerlikens and Pompoms. Just think: Cruisers with no "main" battery you can manually aim... But a loving shredder cloud of flak guns.

I just remembered how big the cupola is on the AMX 30. Yeah that 80 mm @ 73° roof won't do one bit of good. Just look at that loving thing. You'd think it was american.  And the mantlet will probably bounce most (but not all) shells, but the cheeks sure won't.
