80-82 record, back to respectability

Vote Chip Steele for your National League Rookie of the Year, since he hit .302/.371/.571 with 27 homers in 456 PA

also somehow he remains on my ML roster, but has vanished from my lineup options. Knowing that his work is finished, he returns to his healing tank, to return in the hour of our greatest need

Fortunately, the people found a mighty Rosenthal, called Trevor.

Almost a great moment bringing back Jack Strickland for one last start. Could have gotten a win, but still impressive he goes six innings and only gives up three runs in Tucson.

Goodness no, now that wouldn't do at all!

Vote for Chick Wehner, The Gill Hooper Experience, and Todd Hutchinson please and thank you.

Sidenote: 116+ win teams are 11/21 at winning world series in their season. 7/9 of those are Jeff's franchise.

In the end, it comes down to throwing one pitch after another, and seeing what happens. With each new consequence, the game begins to take shape.

why the hell did you think I was so excited to get the second bye? I didn't want to run into your drat team and now you and Nas are both on the other side of the bracket until the ALCS

<gets bounced in the DCS by one of Devo/Jeff>

also if anyone was thinking of voting for a Baron for MVP please choose Julio Blanco because seriously dude had 29 homers and went 56/59 SB/SBA

Not sure if anyone else knew this but it's news to me: if you transfer money out of your payroll, it alters your future payrolls, potentially putting you over budget in future seasons, which is kind of bullshit.

As an addendum to this, if you acquire cash in a trade, it does not adjust your future season payrolls accordingly, and if you transfer again, your future payrolls will still get adjusted based on your pre-cash payroll.

It's super dumb, ugh.

I actually tried to trade with a guy in Zimmer who had negative future available payroll because of transfers. We couldn't figure out how to get it done.

Frankly I would want to not face all of the not-Chicago teams in the field pretty equally if I were you. The slim chance Chicago knocks off gyro would be worth the seeding to me.

Yeah, that's true, although I'd kinda like to play you (more than other NL teams would) just because I have an anti-steal specialist C in De Aza Iglesias who's mainly been chilling in AAA since S24.

I can see any non-Chicago team coming out of the NL though.

jeff is going to be the top heel until he is literally not in the playoffs any longer. The HHH comparison is far too apt.
