No, sounds like the Scrolls of Icarian Flight you find on the wizard who tumbles in front of you outside of Seyda Neen. The Boots of Blinding Speed were my jam. That, some Magica resist and levitating trousers were my adventure gear. My favourite part of Morrowind was decorating whatever house I murderclaimed, usually Nerano Manor. A skull and a greater soul gem made a decent pop-punk talking piece.

That's the one. It doesn't look like a game that's fun to play, at all, but as a Lynch/Twin Peaks fan it's pushing all my buttons in just the right way.

Best song in the game, if only because of how hilarious the whole scene where you likely hear it for the first time can be. Running around as Emily (in the kitty suit, because why the gently caress not), chasing a dalmatian who can't loving decide where he's going, with the fatass trailing behind you like someone just said "two-for-one chili cheese nachos"...when I hit a glitch in the game that made me redo that section, I couldn't even be mad.

And ever scene with her (that I remember, and I could be wrong) has the background music cranked way up, so it's hard to hear the dialog. So it's hard for you to understand what York is saying, just like it is for her.

While I love that explanation (though personally I prefer the theory that York just doesn't care about the conversation, and the BGM reflects that ), I think I remember someone in SGF's original LP thread saying it's just an audio glitch. Something to do with positional audio or something, I think? Though it might've been a glitch that they purposefully left in because it was both hilarious and perfectly fitting. Anyway, I don't remember it happening with Polly in other conversations, but I do remember it happening in conversations with other people. I'm positive there was one with Emily that did that too, for one.

Deadly Premonition is a game that's full of really great little details, it's a hell of a thing. I wish playing it was a bit better, but it's definitely tolerable enough to get a lot out of the game. The best way to experience it is probably SGF'S LP of it: https://archive.org/details/LP_Deadly_Premonition

Probably better than setting the executable to Windows 98 compatibility, running Virtual Audio Cable to get around the constant drifting noise when driving (The game does not like surround-sound setups even if you've told Windows to treat them as stereo), installing DPFix, and still having to deal with a crash bug on a particular cutscene four times before the game finally gives in and lets me go on... All that said, it was a fun ride, but I'm glad I 100%'d the game my first time through so I don't have to do it all again.

Like the others said, it's the Scroll of Icarian Flight which fortifies your Acrobatics skill by 1,000 points for 7 seconds but doesn't really give you a way to get down safely. Boots of Blinding Speed can be used if you have a high enough magic resistance so you're not entirely blind when you use them. Also that wizard shows up again in a little Easter egg in the Dragonborn DLC along with lots of other Morrowind references. No scrolls though.

Speaking of Battlefield: Hardline's reloads, one thing I really like (I think it might have been in BF4 as well but I don't remember off the top of my head) is that if you interrupt a reload, reloading again will pick up the animation where you left off, instead of playing the whole animation again like the vast, vast majority of shooters. So once I was engaged in a shootout, emptied my gun, and ducked behind cover to reload. My character ejects the old magazine, inserts the new one, and then I have to switch to my pistol before he can pull the charging handle because one of the enemies rushed my cover and got in my face. I kill him, switch back to my assault rifle, and then when I hit reload again my guy just pulls the charging handle and he's good to go, since he already switched out magazines.

Fantasy Life is an adorable little JRPG where you can change your job/Life whenever you like. In each town, there are always places to go to get information and quests for whatever Life you're working on at the time. The Angler Life has cats in each town that offer information to Anglers because they need you to help catch fish for them. They call themselves the Bean Toe Squad.
