Yeah, I'm kind of impressed by how much that guy they got looks/sounds like (young) Ice Cube. Well done (oh wait, apparently it's Ice Cube's son? makes sense I guess).  And considering Dre and Ice Cube are cool and doing the unnecessary intro at the beginning of the film, I have to unfortunately assume a lot of the inter-NWA beef and breakup/rivalry drama stuff will be whitewashed or toned down, which is a bummer, but oh well.

Yeah something tells me the song "No Vaseline" isn't making it into the movie but maybe Eazy's exit and AIDS and Snoop Dog/Dre rivalry stuff probably will. NWA dominated my middle school in suburban Kansas making white toast Chiefs kids wear Raiders hats. Their reach and influence cannot be understated.

Another thing, if Suge followed somebody from the set of the film to a burger stand to run them over I gotta think you have to at least add an addendum to the end about it. To tell you the truth Suge Knight deserves his own movie. Of all these dudes he's the homicidal maniac of the group.

Something about the trailer that confuses me: it seems to imply that NWA and the LA riots happened right around the same time and worked very much in tandem with one another, but NWA was basically already broken up before the Rodney King beating had even happened. Maybe it's just the way the trailer is edited, but that's some major revisionism if they try to play it off as happening at the same time.

I noticed that too but I think it's just the way the trailer way cut. They're probably show the riots as more of result of a frustration in the community that NWA represented kind of thing.
