anyone ever get their burg on at cook out? its an nc/sc chain with, as far as i know, only like 4 indoor locations and a billion drive thru ones u can get a burg, two enormous sides, and an absurdly large drink for about 5 bucks. pretty good burgs at a great value if you ask me.

If I had to choose between carmelized onions or raw onions on a burger I would definitely choose raw. Maybe if I was feeling really onion-y, I would do raw on top and a carmelized onion/combo of something else on the bottom. Basically, onions rule

Agree. I actually hate caramelized onions. Other than causing a stringy bite, I never notice them there. Caramelizing seems to do nothing more than "remove flavor." The only alternative to raw onions on a burger that I'll occasionally partake is onions rings/strings. Sometimes they really do the trick.
