I didn't watch a whole lot of the Daily Show, but I have to give Stewart credit for bringing on Hadi al-Bahra when CNN and crew were too busy running 24 hour coverage of ISIS WATCH.

Well, to be fair, being nice to other people and reaching across the aisle is a good thing, when one side hasn't gone so far off the rails in one direction and refuses to compromise in any way, shape, or form. Basically a giant gently caress you but he was making shitloads of money from it.

The problem is there's not many lines of employment for lawyers/legal academics that don't involve tipping your hand about what you think about certain issues that haven't already been litigated before the Court, which isn't necessarily what you'd want to do if you've never had your opinion on the subject captured in print before. That and it's probably seen as unseemly.
