Re: that hotline miami soundtrack. I'm a dumb cs:go babby, so maybe the reason is obvious but I just can't see it, but why would you pay real money for an ingame soundtrack when you could just use spotify or any given mp3 player outside of the program instead?

Probably because it's a good soundtrack and alt tabbing out of game to put on the 10 second timeout theme on your mp3 player (or even using a shortcut key to do it if you are smart) while playing a very intense match wouldn't be very convenient. Also the default soundtrack is grating, I bought a 2.50 music kit just so I would not have to hear those rear end blastingly loud trumpets (or whatever brass instruments they are I failed band by default) in the main menu theme anymore. Yes I know you can specifically tune those out in the settings, but I grew to hate them that much. e: You know I'm posting too drat aggressive today, I need to chill out and get the poo poo I need to do done. nftyw fucked around with this message at 20:05 on Feb 14, 2015 |

Ah, that is pretty bad rear end. I figured it more as a purely musical soundtrack, and as someone who just uses keyboard binds to pause and play my 3rd party music I found it a bit unnecessary as an ingame feature, but it all makes sense now.

I pretty much refrain from betting since I don't even take the time to research what the matches even are, like the exalted 'best of 1' games that can be great to place underdog bets on. I think I won 1 out of 3 bets I ever made and won a USP stainless and a CZ Twist from a bet of a pile of unwanted common skins. Like all wagers you gotta do some research and watch the teams play otherwise you're literally leaving it all up to lady luck.

You know, I gotta wonder if LoL inflates their viewership numbers to stay on top. They're keeping pace with the ESL viewership but there's no major events going on. This always seems to happen. If there's nothing major going on in other channels they hover around 90-100k. But then if someone busts up to 100K+ they start gaining viewers.

It makes sense that LoL would be on top. LoL has more Active players than any other game by far. These numbers are a year old, but 67 million players log in to LoL on a monthly basis(27 million on a daily basis) with 7.5 million players at one time as the peak. Compared to csgo, where the peak players at one time is just above 400k. Plus there is probably a lot of crossover between csgo players and lol players. People can watch multiple streams at the same time. (I'm bored at work...)
