I'm glad The Order is coming out soon so everyone can proceed to shut up about it seriously this is the only place I've even seen people talking about it. Then again this is literally the only video games forum I visit because all the others are somehow so much worse

If I watch a YouTube playthrough of the Order on the same TV I use my ps4 on, would that be identical to playing it? What if I hold a controller and watch a live stream? I literally am not sure.

I wish they would patch in an option to turn off the "What's New" tab and the fact that the only thing it ever shows me, for some reason, are people playing Dragon Age Inquisition even though I have like... 20 games besides that on my PS4

I'll take it over maps. I'd rather DLC doesn't fragment the community. Ideally they should just be charging for cosmetic stuff and releasing weapons for free when they release new hats or whatever to get people playing. Honestly I don't have a huge problem with it as long as the weapons and perks stay balanced, and everyone can play together.Aishan posted:The new Resogun Weekly Challenge is kinda nuts. They think they are but really they just end up copying the last dvd box set they watched. See GTA for evidence. When you get a proper story teller involved then you get something like Enslaved. Really good story that is not dependent on the game. The Order just seem to be someone sat in a room going "how can we make a fight against vampires and werewolves new and fresh?" and thought steampunk would fix it.

There were 2 streams just now of The Order on PS Live that got pulled, I watched both of em, think both players got maybe 45 minutes into the game. Got to hear a Korean dude go "Wow" over seeing breasts and penis, plus a QTE where you wrestle a gun away from a naked man.

i know one thing for sure, if I had to pick between Monster Hunter 4 or The Order 188 6, the smarter person would go for Monster Hunter, which I did. Next thing to do is try to get my girl to play w/me on my quests/collections! Sucks that lousy game (186) is gonna be a goty nomination, makes me me sick to my stomach

So I guess I'm that one guy not interested in the order OR bloodborne. Can we just have a modern urban fantasy game. Please Please It's a cool setting I promise, technology, a city, magic, you still can have your dude in a sword and ogres, but in a city. Cool right? Cell phones, coffee shops and grimoires. We can do this.
