My man Ben Franklin addressed the Irish problem pretty succinctly when he said, "gently caress the Irish and everyone else who isn't white." And Ben Franklin was pretty accepting when it came to racial issues. It's like a mirror universe Jefferson. Franklin thought all people should be free, but free people should associate with those like them . . . because not all people are created equal.
