Can I add funds to a US account with a European PayPal account? Common sense says yes, but I thought I would ask anyway.

Thanks, not sure why I didn't just do that in the first place. That was rather painless. :)

I'm playing a Barbarian because I've always liked damage-dealing tanks. Is this the problem? Is it just a boring class? I'm level 17 right now.

D3 is really easy. You can easily start the game on the third difficulty setting with no problems and then go from there. All the enemies scale depending on settings. When it gets harder you'll have to use a bit more tactics. but it's still a very basic game, all built around grinding for levels and loot.
In my opiniong barbarian is the most boring class, it'll alway be just running up to an enemy and hitting them.

I think they check your PayPal accounts address and if it's a different country it doesn't go through. It's easier to get US cards from Amazon.

The problem I have with difficulty levels in Diablo 3 is that you to have to unlock them, so you'll be stuck with Expert for a long time, and it's only challenging at the very beginning. After you unlock Master you'll play on that and most likely have no problems until you unlock Torment, which becomes a little challenging, but to unlock it you have to play through the first four acts/reach level 60 (I forgot which), which takes a while. So you will have spent a hefty amount of hours already and might burn out.

Imagine how much more sad and lonely we would be if not for the hard work of lowtax. Here's $12.95 to his aid.
Amazon US PSN cash would be safest and less risky to get hold of on amazon.com rather than .co.uk I thought, and then:

Note: Currently, this item is available only to customers located in the United States and who have a U.S. billing address.

Pffffffft. Bank account's in Sweden so I would most likely not be able to get it. (also a ton of warnings of "Code has already been used", Sony support saying that's up to Amazon. Avoid.)

not yet seen if they're fine with non-NA customers: http://www.pcgamesupply.com/buy/Sony-Playstation-Network-50/ PayPal supported
Good old PA that never ever have failed me in PSN card shopping before: http://www.play-asia.com/paOS-14-71-1z3-49-en.html#fc=v:4 PayPal supported
My third alternative: http://www.sondox.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=1_29&sort=20a&page=2 PayPal support?

Or Canadian PSN cards :v: https://www.videogamesplus.ca/ for an utter complete mad bargain

I've managed to buy those from Amazon by simply entering an US address. The security is pretty lacking - they don't even ask for the card security number.

Link says it's "still being looked at" but I don't see why it really matters any more. The game's already been between $30 and $40 a couple times, why wait for a super-scaled down free version when the whole game isn't far off from the permanent bargain bin.

Maybe i'm reading between the lines a little too much, but experience tells me that "still being looked at" is just another sentence for canceled. Your point about the price is totally valid though. At this point it's worth it to just buy the retail version outright. DriveClub is a good game and Sony should never have decided to make a PS+ version, that was such a stupid idea. It completely ruined the image people had of DriveClub. A lot of people wanted to wait for the PS+ version and if it never came out then they had no intention of buying the game and now DriveClub and Sony just look real bad because Sony can't offer something they promised was coming.

Regardless of my stance on driving games Sony promised the PS+ version and I will wait for it. If it's not coming, then that's fine, but that's something that needs to be publicly and clearly stated and some kind of explanation would be nice.

Steam actually does have region issues when it comes to payment from foreign regions (especially with recent Russia stuff) it's just trivially easy to circumvent.

I think it was Kaz Hirai who said that the explosive reception to the PS4 actually made Sony start to panic a little, because they had no idea why it was selling so hot or how they would keep sales rolling when the initial glut finished. I don't think they got a big head, I think they're suffering from the usual new-gen wave of disappointing graphical-showcase titles, with the typical issues (pretty games with little substance) being exacerbated by PSN's gently caress-awful instability.

Yeah, you just need to go into your account settings and add a random US address as a billing address. On the same page turn off/reset 1-click settings.

When you get to the checkout if it defaults to your real address anyway just click the change address option and choose the US address, my UK debit card went straight through without any issues whatsoever.

At least, I think RE Revelations 2 downloaded. When I find it in my Library screen there's a START button instead of DOWNLOAD, but selecting it just gives me an error "Application could not be found." And there's no record of it in the Downloads section.

I think something is funky with the download, probably because of how the season pass is being handled maybe? I'm in the same boat - it wouldn't even let me download it until yesterday, and when I did it still gave me an error, but proceeded to start the download anyway.

Because it's fun. I wish I had more detail on why I like it, but I do. Since we were throwing subjective opinions on games out there, I thought I'd toss my hat in. I've always gone out and purchased GT games whenever they're released, and then found myself bored by them after a few hours. I've had a good time playing DC with my friends, though, plus they are releasing good updates and new tracks for free with a lot of regularity. It's worth trying, I think.
