When this show comes back on, itll have been nearly 90 days since last episode. For just having acquired it, TBS seems dead set on strangling it in the cradle.

Actually TBS has been promoting the hell out of it on Facebook the entire time it's been off air. They're truly proud of their new baby. They've been putting out stuff like this nearly every day:

I think they're just having trouble with the scheduling. They did a pretty good job with promotion when they had new episodes going on.

It's back next week: LGBSteve Hayley is dying to be on a roller derby team, but they only will let her play if her "sister" Steve gets to play. Meanwhile, a magical carpenter visits Stan and Francine.

To be honest, both of those sound kind of bad. But it's not like this show tends to be as expected.

I was expecting Devin would reveal she was actually a guy and that would scare Steve off. Roger vs the rats was great, and they even got the rink for a few hours.

Based on the image of Steve with the tape, I'm also doubting he's a boy.

That would have made more sense with St. Joseph, but I guess they didn't want to confuse the audience.

Morning Mimosa Francine refuses to cook for Steve after he swears at her, and as a result, Steve becomes a successful chef; Stan believes a snap of his fingers will turn people invisible.

I still like the show well enough, but it feels different in not a great way. Did they lose writers in the shift from Fox to TBS?

I think the entire concept of this episode was making fun of that Today Show segment where Kathy Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb talk and drink wine for an hour.

I really liked the episode. It's rare to see Francine/Steve fight, so it was pretty amusing. Morning Mimmosa was also great. The Stan subplot didn't realy work for me though.

I think Barker (or Weitzman, I can't remember) left for this season. For what it's worth, I've thought this season has been pretty decent (except maybe the roller derby episode).

Personally I don't think they've really missed a beat. Although not a lot of Roger-centric episodes recently.

The roller derby episode had a Bouncing Souls song, so that was cool. Too bad it was a latest album Bouncing Souls song but still
