I think the best part was when SSJ Trunks used his ultimate six times in a row before i managed to hit him out and finish him.

Oh. Okay, well played game. Well played. You got me, you fucker. So, I spent the past couple hours beating my head against the 2nd tag team tournament parallel quest, not getting a single drop at all. I was going for the android 18 equipment, thinking it was her Denim jacket. I was getting so pissed off by the end that I was ready to quit for the night. Then I finally get it... It's not the denim jacket. I still cant be extremely 90's.

So now that both of them are out, does this game play better on PS4 or PC? Or is it still too soon to tell? I'm kinda interested in this game despite having almost no knowledge of DBZ.

Quality is a bit ropey for the first couple episodes but it gets waaaay more polished after that.

Holy loving poo poo I've played this so much today. Anyone else have serious trouble on some of the side quests where you're one man/woman/other against the legions of Z-fighters? Teen Gohan has had a quest for me concerning training for the Cell Games for many, many levels and there's no loving way I'm going to be able to finish it solo. Is there a good trigger for masters to advance their training? I've got Vegeta's gauge filled up and I've leveled up a couple times, and I use his skills predominately in battle, but he won't do anything. I keep running into Gotenks and Cell but I want to finish out Vegeta first. Does anyone have a list of what the masters give you?

To add to that, Kaioken x20 drops from PQ 9, Saiyan Pride. I know because I had to grind that mission to the point where I leveled up five times. Dunno if you have to beat Goku in Kaioken form (Secret Objective), but it dropped for me when I did. Keep in mind, it's still random whether or not you get it when you clear the Secret Objective. That's why it's worth doing PQs for other people, other people might know the requirements and get them to show up for you when you try the PQs yourself. Team composition can do funny stuff in the quests themselves. Edit: I've never tested it, but every time I had SSJ4 Vegeta in my party, Goku turned into a Super Saiyan without fail. It was always usually accompanied by banter between the two on how Vegeta surpassed him (with the correct portrait). If anything, team members get unique dialogue. Im looking forward to the inevitable data-mine of this game on PC so we can finally have some sort of idea what half of the skills and items in this game actually DO. God forbid they add a few numbers to game besides the words 'boost slightly'.

It feels like i do better if i just run around and spam ki blasts. Just about everytime in melee, it seems the AI's always have combo breakers up and they end up doing all their damage.

Awww yeah I finally beat one of the stupid cell games-tier PQs and got myself a SWORD MOVE. With a legit sword, even, not Ki Blades or other stupid poo poo. Seems pretty strong too. I should try to grind this quest more since I see other SWORD MOVES in the drop list but I can BARELY beat it as is, so I dunno. Still, being finally able to use the sword I've had on my back for most of the game is a good feeling.

That or cancel out with your own dodge move or ki attack.

Anyone have any good tips on fighting a Nappa as a Namekian? I just got wrecked by someone in VS. Dude kept doing this invisibility framed purple grab attack that did a crazy amount of damage.

I burned through this one with ease after getting Full Power Charge, Super Saiyan 2 and Final Flash. Charge up to full, go into fighting area, turn on Super Saiyan 2 and Final Flash the enemies into oblivion repeatedly.

On PC, I'm having issues with the camera getting stuck at ground level (or, if I invert Y, sky level). It's like the controller is uncentered, but I've tried two controllers (a Dual Shock 3 and a Dual Shock 4) and it's still happening. Any ideas?

It detected my DS4 with no additional drivers, so with an additional driver it detected the same device 4 times. I uninstalled/deactivated the other drivers and it worked fine.
