yeah i'm well aware of the risk i'd run into trying to sell the knife, thanks for the heads up though. edit: selling it on steam is not an option (for me) as the knife is worth way than the market's cap (400 dollars if i remember correctly, no?) and i'd lose 15percent (steam tax). Having Call of Duty style kill-cams would offer up way too much information about the other team like the number of players with the person that killed you. Even if it was only available on casual, it could potentially disrupt anti-cheat methods like removing player models when they're out of view. Short answer is to gently caress off to call of duty if you miss them so much.
