"The man I love" . . "Kevin!" . . "obviously Kevin" I love those little nothing jokes that depend completely on the delivery.

I just find it really refreshing and great that they didn't treat Boyle like a loser during the B plot. Yeah, he is kind of weird and has some hang up with with women but he's not a bumbling idiot in the vein of Micheal Scott. The whole scenario of the lovable grandpa being a criminal mastermind was really fun to watch between the two of them.

I totally thought he was faking his death so that he could sneak out of the police department. Also I loved the lines from Captain Holt about the rubber band ball. Deball those bands!

Sometimes I hate Terry Crews for how amazingly talented he is. Not that the show's been in a slump or anything, but this was a pretty standout episode. It was pretty great to finally see Boyle being a cop, too.

The way they defused the tension between Jake and Santiago at the end was really funny. The show's been walking a kind of fine line with that whole romance plot... on a purely comedic level I think it would be really great if they just suddenly were together between episodes and it just wasn't a big deal.
