I watched Stephen Merchant's show Hello Ladies over the weekend and Marc and Stephanie have an entire scene together in that show (the episode with the limousine) that was really delightful.

Also last night's episode was great. I'm really glad they had an episode with so much Kevin.

I missed Kevin, so having an episode he was actually a part of was great.

I just find it really refreshing and great that they didn't treat Boyle like a loser during the B plot. Yeah, he is kind of weird and has some hang up with with women but he's not a bumbling idiot in the vein of Micheal Scott. The whole scenario of the lovable grandpa being a criminal mastermind was really fun to watch between the two of them.

I totally thought he was faking his death so that he could sneak out of the police department.

Also I loved the lines from Captain Holt about the rubber band ball. Deball those bands!

Pro is an amazing name!
Sometimes I hate Terry Crews for how amazingly talented he is.

Not that the show's been in a slump or anything, but this was a pretty standout episode. It was pretty great to finally see Boyle being a cop, too.

I know, I loved how much insight into Holt's life we got with this episode. How can a man paint a rock so many times so many different ways?

I liked how chipper Holt was in that scene. A lesser show would have him default back to stern and aloof no matter what happened.

I thought it was Gina's speech to Lynne that did it.

That episode was amazing, but for some reason my favourite line was Gina calling Hitchcock a stone-cold atrocity.

Yeah, she said she didn't invite him because she was a coward. Holts speech was lovely though.

The way they defused the tension between Jake and Santiago at the end was really funny. The show's been walking a kind of fine line with that whole romance plot... on a purely comedic level I think it would be really great if they just suddenly were together between episodes and it just wasn't a big deal.
