If we could just get Big Show's body run by the mind of a good actor, there are a TON of good roles he could land, since he's a supremely opposing presence. There'd be some crazy logistics though, such as basically no stuntmen being able to believably stand in for him. There would be money in Bond villain/henchman Big Show always being shown in vehicles that are ridiculously large and using giant forks to eat. Andre the Giant already established the precedent In Princess Bride too.

Kingpin always seemed hard to bring to screen because he's such a massive yet agile guy in the comics. Michael Clarke Duncan really pulled it off well, and D'Onofrio looks like he'll be able to do the same. As for SHIELD, Carter was fun but I can't wait to see what happens now, especially with Raina.

The Red Queen posted:I'm surprised nobody has brought up that he was Edgar in Men in Black but I think that's an easy one to forget too what with all the hamming it up and makeup. Actually, it's usually the only one. If I see him in anything else, I just expect him to ask for sugar. In water.

The "casting for Netflix shows" I'm most excited about is David Tennant as Purple Man. One of my favorite Doctors being evil as hell . Doctor Hypno-dude on Peggy Carter was a discount Purple Man and he did a good job of making you hate him, I can't wait to see how Tennant handles a similar powerset.

Basebf555 posted:I guess maybe D'Onofrio's weight has always fluctuated and that contributes to it, but I'm ALWAYS seeing him in stuff and not realizing until halfway through that its him. I knew about him for years when he was on that Law & Order show but I needed to actually see the credits of Full Metal Jacket to realize he was Pyle. I think that's an example of how loving good an actor he is: He blows up like a balloon and has no issue with undoing it for a role a few months later. He's awesomazing.
