I know it's cool to hate on it, but I'm kind of cautiously optimistic about Star Citizen. I'm not going to throw any money at it until it's fully finished and released, but a lot of what he's talked about sounds like it could be really good.

If it happens it'll be great. If not, no loss other than some awesome poo poo. I did buy a ship way before they even hit ten million, but I sold that off for nearly triple what I paid for it.

I've given them about $200, in the EARLY days long before it got murdered by feature creep and rampant cocaine fueled promises. If you have Arma 3 and you've enjoyed playing it (or even if you haven't) there's a mod for it that has been a huge hit with goons. It's mostly PvP with some PvE, and is pretty awesome. Just read the thread: http://forums.somethingawful.com/showthread.php?threadid=3695643 I believe there's a few GiP goons currently playing it and could attest to it being pretty loving great. Or you could just read a couple pages.
