Cheetahs are quite easy to tame and are never really a danger to humans. Btw the Big Cat / Small Cat distinction is a bit odd to me because Mountain Lions (Small Cat) can breed with Leopards (Big Cat) to make a "Pumapard", so there is some interesting stuff going on there. Yeah only tigers, lions, leopards, jaguars, and snow leopards are "Big Cats". Cougars and cheetahs are just cats who happened to also be large.

Someone has just told a very funny joke to this seal. Seriously holy poo poo that is a level of happiness I cannot even comprehend I am currently in bed with some version of the flu and I have to go into work tomorrow otherwise they will claim I am bunking off ahead of my holiday to Paris in a few days time, this thread has cheered me right up despite that. Could we have some Chow Chow pics, as they are my favorite dog.

Plethora posted:Why are they all round like that? Do they soak up water and look different when dryer or are they just naturally spherical? They live in very dry places, (Southern Africa deserts) and being amphibians, if they dry out, they die. Spheres have the least surface area per a given volume through which they can lose moisture. Unfortunately, as they live in dry places, they live burrowed underground and rarely ever come out to be seen in their tubby glory. They basically hibernate until it rains then come out to find a mate only to return underground immediately.
