I'm up to episode 153, the first full week of Gertrude Bains' reign as the world's oldest person, having seen down all those would-be's and former title holders.

Its going to be a bummer for Seth and vicariously for me when I catch up to where she shuffles off. It seems like most folks only get three weeks at the top.

1. I had I think my first UYD dream last night, where the boys were saving some war-torn area of a third-world country in some sort of Far Cry/The Rundown plot. All I remember is them escaping some place on a speedboat, and them recording an episode while a couple henchmen are trying to shoot up their safehouse.

2. I listened to 448 today and oh my God I did a bunch of my grad school research on surface-enhanced Raman :stare:

I messaged one of my former colleagues who knows a little about UYD and she said "Holy poo poo I just read that paper". So crazy to hear that come up in an ep, that's why I love this show.

Best ep in a while. Concerning the Dear Amy this week, I like how the grandpa doesn't want his 12 year old grandson to grow up to be "scared" by constantly sleeping with grandma, but he literally says he's too scared to bring it up with the kids parents because of how they might react. I agree with the guys though, make the kid sleep with some old lady stranger.

Also I heard Kid Rock's new song when he was on Stern promoting his Discount Tour or whatever. Guy's a fruit.
