No reason to fetishize the right angles but I think in this case, making the slats in the building parallel with the top of the photo would make it much stronger.

He's got it parallel on the left. Doesn't matter what you line up in this photo, it's going to be hosed somewhere else.

I think a little horizontal perspective correction in LR would do the trick.

But then they wouldn't be converging with the lines of the truck. The LR magic straighten every thing tool is cool but not for everything.

I just meant the slats of the building relative to the top of the photo, not the truck. Something like this (hope you don't mind):

Anyway, enough about it, great photo either way.

That's alright. Converging lines not parallel . The top slats being slanted down balances out the lines from the truck and creates a geometric pattern that I think looks interesting. Makes a cone or arrow out of the building and truck lines. Thanks, I do appreciate the feedback either way.

Yeah, they are lab scans too and a bit heavy handed to me. I'm going to rescan them eventually but I've got loads in the queue ahead of that.

Not entirely happy with this, but it's the best I could manage. For what I want I'd either need a modern full-frame sensor or a mavica.

Think my monitor needs calibrating, I can't tell if these all have a weird colour cast or not. I underexposed by a stop or two so maybe it's just that.

These are such a good concept but I wish the LCD screens were more in focus.
