New MacBook has 8 gigs ram and 256 gigs memory and to get an 11-in air with the same specs is 1200. this kind of says more about apple's upgrade pricing but $100 more for a better screen, and thinner and lighter kind of makes sense. like I'm still skeptical as hell about the new keyboard and trackpad but we'll see.

why are people talking like huge margins on a gold watch don't make a lot of sense? the market for a $5k watch is the same as a $10k watch, and you aren't going to sell twice as much at $5k that you will at $10k. what's weird is that they don't cost more, and that they're loving around with plastic bands.
