Also there is actually a way bigger diversity in the types and flavours of cask wine so its not exactly a great analogy but I guarantee you if you do a blind tasting of VB vs Tooheys New vs XXXX bitter you will not be able to tell the difference, I drink all those beers regularly and we tried it at work and nobody was capable of consistently telling them apart

I agree, and we actually have a classification for people that act in an extreme anti-social manner (e.g. blowing themselves + innocents up) due to pervasive environmental conditions, often during adolescence: sociopathy. Sociopathy is, of course, either a subclassification of or synonymous with psychopathy depending on who you ask, but is still classified as a mental illness. I wonder which group would be considered mentally sound: somebody who is coerced into committing a suicide attack against innocents, or somebody who chooses to take their own life rather than hurt others?

Just another confused teen getting convinced by some loving arsehole to fight and die for meaningless poo poo. History full of poor buggers that didn't know any better going the same way.
