It made sense to me with the van. The community is quiet as hell and pumping the poo poo out of that garbage music would distract/redirect any walkers that are near Alexandria.

I doubt it was any kind of luring tactic at the time and just another example of Alexandria people being Bad At Zombies, a theme they really tried to hammer home all episode. Aiden thinks going on raids is fun and awesome and brings his party mix with him.

Plus it takes away a bit from Eugene's rescue if he's just using the dubstep as intended.

Motorcycles are pretty useful in the zombie apocalypse, but you know what the best wheeled vehicle is?

A monster truck.

Surely those must be easy to find in the greater Atlanta area.

When they crank up the jams and they all exchange looks, Glenn says "Helps draw 'em away," but that might just be Glenn making an excuse for the Alexandrians' idiocy.

Dr. Dick is going to be too drunk to help Tara.
Tara is going to die.
Rick is going to kill Dr. Dick for being a drunk, a wife beater and a dick.
Deanna is going to see all of this go down and think the reverend was telling the truth about Rick's group and try to kick them out.

That's my prediction...should be interesting. I thought last episode was really good. You had some action with the warehouse gore show, the relationship between Dr. Dick and Rick was moved along even more with his weird visit. Reverend being a bitch and trying to get rid of Rick's group, Carol being Carol and the setup for drama with Tara and the other dude being injured/half dead.

if any of you watch the sneak peaks you'll know that Tara definitely doesn't die, not from this anyway.

In the preview for next week they show Deanna (sp?) and Rick standing in front of four fresh graves. I'm assuming they'll all be for the people they 'lost' before Rick & crew showed up (there's nothing to bury for Aiden or Noah), but maybe there's some other cull by the end of next episode.

If zombies got those four people, there wouldn't be anything left of them to bury either.

Not necessarily true. If they just got bitten, they may have killed them and then buried them. Who knows.

I missed the last 5 or so minutes of the show. Had to leave right when Noah got eaten. What happened after that and what did Gabrielle do?

What surprises me most is, with the Alexandiran's previous practices of what to do when poo poo hits the fan is howd they get away with only 4 dead?

they never leave the walls.

The more I think about it, the more I think that that graveyard scene is actually the Douglas handing over control of Alexandria to Rick saying that Rick is clearly more qualified to lead.

He went to talk to Deanna and talked about how Satan disguises himself as an angel of light and Rick's group is made up entirely of hitlerdemons. Maggie was listening. Then Carol went to Rick and told him to kill the kid's dad because he's an abuser

They've handwaved that Alexandria has water recycling. Apart from a mention of apple trees I'm not sure where all the Alexandria food is coming from.

Also, anyone know what Gabriel was doing in the beginning with the bible and the wax paper? It looked like he was about to fix a torn page but I've never heard of that before and I'm genuinely interested in knowing what he was going to do.

I think he was sliding the wax paper behind the torn page so when it came time to turn the page, he could just lift the wax paper and not risk tearing the page by accident. Or he was going to tape the wax paper to the page to "stabilize" it, and be able to read the other side through the clear paper.

That said, surprised no one's posted a gif of Noah getting eaten. That was some Tom Savini level makeup and effects.

I feel like Black Highlander doesn't quite sum up Noah dying such a bullshit death and Priest becoming such a cock all in one episode.

Like, I know that the show kills white characters too but Merle, Hershel, Shane, Andrea, Lori, Beth etc at least got multi-series arcs and sometimes even heroic deaths. It seems like black characters are introduced just to die and I'm getting sick of it.

And I'm pretty sure Tyreese outlived a few of those people by a wide margin, as episodes go.

Noah's death was timely and awesome, look at all the shock and awe from people who are tuning into a show that has been gruesomely murdering main characters for literal years.

Kill Maggie then. She has far less of an arc than Noah did and it would make more sense.

nope, Maggie is a main main main character in the comics, probably second only to Rick. She has a pretty big moment coming up in a bit.
