I use the same doc, so I overwrite the Individual Skater/Goalie pages each season. But each player has their own individual sheet which keeps track of every year they play. Check out Saskatanov's for reference

Think Tank has lodged a formal complaint to the league about the incidental awarding of that secondary assist. He'll lose way too much hobo cred if people start to believe he occasionally thinks about people other than himself.

I couldn't find this thread then forgot about it oops, I'm here now.

e: The NHL record for goals in a season without breaking 100 points is 66 set by Lanny McDonald, Think Tank has made it his goal in life to shatter that.

Peter Bondra had a really lopsided year in 1994-95 (lockout shortened) when he scored 34 goals and 9 assists in 47 games. Has anyone ever had a more selfish season?

There was a book that I had used in years past for finding weird records. I'll try and figure out what I searched to find it on Google. It might have the answer we want. I simply searched "Most goals without an assist nhl season" and didn't get what I wanted. I haven't tried too hard.

e: the only other similar modern season i found like that was a 30-10-40 for ray sheppard in the same year bondra went 34-9-43, 94-95. most of the high goal, low assist records are pre-1930s when assist counting wasnt really a thing that happened with frequency

Clearly Peter Bondra was selfish, enigmatic, almost Russian, and probably a dirty pinko Commie who didn't get his teammates involved.

(Actually his center Joe Juneau had a 7.1% shooting percentage that year and Peter Bondra is the best and I will fight anyone who says otherwise. :colbert:)

His blue screamin' eagle was the first jersey I ever had and I still wear it to home games occasionally.

Considering the clutch-and-grab era and how many times he led the league in goals, I think he'd have an outside HoF chance. But homerism aside he's the prototypical Hall of Very Good'er
