I forgot who first posted it but this is an amazing solution to industrial traffic. No problems whatsoever with this setup. The two lane roads are NOT one way, because that would prevent service vehicles from easy movement.

 Due to my tendency to jam pedestrian paths in wherever I think they'd work instead of planning for them, I've created a gateway to the subway dimension. They phase through the ground and then ride the metro to their destinations.

After fighting with what turned out to be my alpha texture being the wrong size, I finally got my accurately sized youth baseball/softball field actually working - if overexposed looking. Time to try it out in-game!  Oh well gently caress me. Anyone know how high I have to make the base to compensate for that?
