THE T-54 FIRST MODEL SUCKS THE BIGGEST DICKS

Apparently the Mauschen, the VK4502B replacement is only getting AP and HE shells for its 150 mm gun. No gold heat on that one in other words so enjoy 225 pen at tier9. The 128 is still great though. WG sometimes learns from their mistakes, and apparently a Maus in tier9 with a better turret and 150 mm HEAT ammo was apparently even too much for them. On the other hand, since it is an replacement many people will already have the VK4502B unlocked and thus WG won't get too much money from gold conversions.

I think they need to go the CDC way with future premiums. Its excellent in the hands of better players and atrocious in the hands of the average pubbie. It probably evens out in the statistics, and thus wg is happy. hopefully they'll buff it, because the pubbies are doing so badly in it

I really like the Firefly. I play it like a slow Hellcat - don't get shot, hold left click on reds, keep firing as many shells downrange as possible. Turrets, high pen guns and decent mobility make for good tanks. Just get your damage out as soon as possible - you aren't great on cleanup because no armor and no invisibility cloak like the Hellcat has.

Because of the sale, I just picked up both the Firefly AND the Achilles, then I realized they have reversed crew layouts compared to their predecessors. Consequently, the Sherman 3 crew would have to go to the Achilles and the Archer to the Firefly, or maybe I'll just swap over that radioman.  It doesn't really matter anyway, both crews have similar XP and we never reached a consensus on which was the better one to grind to the tier 7.  Edit: PANSY has an official comic strip now:

Is anyone else having FPS issues since 9.6? What's happening for me is that every time I start a battle my FPS tanks to <10 and then goes back up to 35-40 after 5 seconds while it was a solid 60 in 9.5. I haven't changed any settings and I have a GTX 770 so it shouldn't be dipping below 60 at all.

It still works, but there are restrictions on who can recruit and who can be recruited. You have to have played during a certain time to recruit, and 2Tanked found out the hard way that taking a break precluded him from being able to recruit his buddy. As far as being recruited is concerned, you either have to be inactive for the past 60 days, or need to sign up for a new account (with a new e-mail address.) If you're interested in being recruited, let me know; I still don't have an active recruit, and I'm offering benefits (i.e. codes & rewards.) PM me for details. (Or I'll try PMing you.)

I'm downloading WOT again. One question regarding mission tanks (DDR T-54, etc). Are these missions time-limited, or are they here to stay? If they do run out, do I have a chance in hell of getting a DDR T-54 before they run out?
