Why is there always one dickhead in a meteor who wants to drag out the match for 30 minutes while he's the only one left against six japanese players????

Technically, both teams are defending ( or attacking ), it's just that German teams are more willing to play Parking Lot Simulator 2015 for as long as it takes to win.

Pubbies, though thick, are not entirely incapable of learning through negative reinforcement. This is how quite a few but not all T3 US and USSR players learned to stop loving sniping in the open vs their german counterparts, and instead using speed and cover to get closer and be more effective. Thus if we want German teams to stop loving sniping in the open, then we need more Pershings.

In reality firing a two or three shots in a row like that would disconnect the engine block from the plane. In game they just make the shots go at 45º angles.

I'd never tried the MC202 in RB because I thought it was sort of pants because of Italy, but it's a pleasure to fly. Shame about the guns.

The 202 is basically like a German Hien and both are some of the most fun low tier planes in the game, SB especially where you can sneak up on people and put the supposedly bad and lovely .50s to great use.

One of the best fights I've had recently was in the (american) Ki-61 vs an MC202. I think I like the Hien better over all though. Afterwards he messaged me and tried to recruit me to his dumb wheraboo clan

Still, it was a real pleasure to take it out for a spin and kill some fools with my macaroni launcher. Our new guy just got the BF109 F1 and so me and my normal wingman have been playing a lot of low tier germans. The BF seems to be where RB is finally starting to click for him, too, the rookie's starting to murder people too.

The Wirraway is a good purchase. The flight characteristics feel goofy but rule, and I only took it out a few times but each round was super low tier, so facing dinky biplane guns you stand a cha oh god oh poo poo a Hayabusa what do I d- http://gfycat.com/FondSkinnyHoatzin Well okay then!

So I'm halfway through the grind for the Porsche Tiger II. How bad of a tank is it? It looks like a death trap but with a huge gun.

These CARB No marker events have been a lot of fun, it flips the whole tank hierarchy all around, letting tanks do so much more then before. Audio cues have saved my rear end more then once, hearing panzers on my flank and seeing him before he does me. Means I have to turn my music off, but it's worth it.

Still hope they make up on their word and turn conventional RB/SB into no marker, while the pre-selection is rather balanced not all my buddies can always participate in the events when they go above mid-tier... and nobody, including myself, cares about playing normal modes anymore after tasting nor-marker.

The Tiger II are both solid tank, the first one with the early Krupp turret is quiet a bit weaker in terms of turret armor but I think the gun more than makes up for it. It's also not a Porsche design, so it's just a generic teutonic death-trap and not a Feridnand-Firebomb Porsche kinda death trap.

The first tiger 2 has a really weak turret front, but other than that is solid and the gun is great. the second tiger 2 has a much better turret and is otherwise basically the same and is super, super good.

quote:1) We plan to completely remove BR from RB. Instead, we will have tables which will show what vehicles of what country can meet each other in the battle. This table will be available to be viewed by players directly inside the game. Cool, so now people can have more poo poo to memorize other than ".3" and ".7" when they want to min/max their vehicles instead of learning to actually play! Seriously though, I'm glad Gaijin is making most of these changes. The constant instant que times since the no markers events have even started is a good indicator that it is more popular than any non-arcade modes. Also mixed was a thing for a while in SB and it's not as bad as it sounds though I don't know how it'll work with no markers unless its just axis vs allies.

The best thing about mixed apart from being able to actually get into battles as T4 Russia is the rage it generates in pubbies.

I hope they keep the markers in SB too. It's already hard enough for inexperienced players. I think they're still taking away the HUD indicators for speed/altitude. You don't need this poo poo to fly because you can just eyeball everything from takeoff to landing. This will give players something to do while flying about aimlessly. Learning all the dials in your plane lets you fine tune your flying, seeing and feeling the effects directly and it's cool to let players figure this out on their own instead of how it is in RB where basically everyone flies at 300kmph to climb because the forums said so and can blindly dive until they redline. It just creates this MLG mindset where people jerk off to raw stats and perfect steps instead of really learning the rock-paper-scissors of maneuvering and why they are actually effective. Dogfights in SB are always interesting because players don't simply hold a full-on keyboard turn while WEPing. Planes are only as agile as the person flying them can push them before spinning out and the instructor does not limit you from overexerting yourself. If you force an opponent into a move that you have mastered and they are struggling then you know one thing you can exploit against them the next time the opportunity arises. This is why it is not unusual to see players winning fights in 109s against planes like P-51s in the combined arms event as I'm sure many people have seen by now. In regular SB, this just gets better because there are a large variety of planes that can fight each other. The limited views and differences in speed stack up and often become the deciding factor moreso than who can turn in a perfect circle the fastest. It is not unsual to see planes like P-38s straight up dogfighting with and even successfully shooting down Japanese planes when it is vs edit: also, Burno tried to use the American skin on the G8N1 today against Russia but it seems certain skins may have been disabled in SB. It doesn't really matter but I won't be surprised if the American Zero doesn't let you use the straight up Japanese skin anymore which is the funniest troll plane in the game.
