For you guys with dual monitors... the biggest annoyance about them for me is that I can no longer just vaguely and broadly whip my mouse pointer up to the upper right corner of the main screen to close programs like I used to because if I do, the cursor just flies over to the right-most screen.

Are there any programs that sort of let you add an artificial mouse pointer stopper to the upper right edge of the main screen so I can keep absentmindedly flipping the cursor up and over to click and close programs?

Windows 8 already does this for you by default, along with a few other nice multi-monitor enhancements.

Here's mine! I know there was some debate a few pages back about people disliking windows on their cases, but I don't mind either of my Corsair cases having windows. I'd like to think I build very clean internals and I enjoy looking at them, plus it makes my kids think they are very "cool". Second one is my main desktop with an adjustable-height (sit-stand) desk that I got from my work, the other one is in my kitchen next to the door for people that come over and hang out/game/whatever.

ACHIEVE HEAVEN THROUGH VIOLENCE
Here's my desk! I made it specifically for the Eyefinity setup using pipe fittings and fenceposts.

Front View

The center 3 are crappy TN panels, and I'll probably be replacing the Array with a 40+ in 4k monitor once the DP models are a reasonable price

Angle view

Other notes:

At the bottom left side is my little minecraft server, diligently puttering away

The far left and right monitors are on floating ergotron arms

The bin on the left side is a repurposed storage bin turned into a garbage can

The ancient laptop on the right is my work computer

Yes, I cleaned just prior to this. Figured I might as well get a few decent pictures in while I was at it

Hey guys! My living situation is a bit weird right now, but it's actually kind of cozy and relaxing so I thought I'd share.

-_- it's a good thing my flash can illuminate the whole room, it doesn't really get much light in here.

And I get a pretty nice view from this window right here! I'm next to an old brewery or something.

There's not a lot of space, but it'll be changing soon enough.

Anyone looking for a standing desk (granted it's manual/crank): home.woot.com/offers/cool-living-stand-up-adjustable-desk-2-colors

I decided to go for it because I likely won't adjust it too much, and I could likely rig up an arduino setup to crank it if I really got creative. And it beats waiting forever for Bekant desks to get in stock.

Plus if it sucks I can get back what I paid for it around where I live.

Agreed! Found mine in the electronics recycling container at my local dunp. Works excellent.

Ikea. It's more a table than a desk really, but it'd make a crappy table, too. It's one of those ultra-light things that's basically thick corrugated cardboard w wood laminate glued to it. I think their "LACK" shelves are made out of the same poo poo.

I guess I'm keeping the boxes because I moved seven times in the last 6 years; out of habit. I also have the space, now. Hopefully I don't move again for a long time! They're also business deductions so keeping the material around in my home office helps to reflect its purpose. :D

Yes, it is a 50" 4k Seiki and I positively adore it. I started with 39" SEIKI and loved it, but the pixel density was a little hard on my eyes (19.5" 1080p per quadrant) so I upgraded to the 50, which I now have two of - one in my home office and one at the corporate office.
